I had fun with these little skirts. My daughter loves this style and they are quick to put together with minimal fabric. I'm so happy when people comment to her about her skirts because she beams and says, "My mommy made it!"
I'll miss those days of her whirling around in them pretending to be a princess or a ballerina. I'll make as many skirts as she wants!
That is so adorable! I love the fabrics you used!

Precious! I also envy those cute boots!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! I am sure you don't remember, but you and my middle daughter share the same birthday. I thought of you and knew you were having fun and your blog proves it. I love the skirts and the new look for your sewing/creating room. You are one deserving woman of all the space you have to do what you do. If you are happy doing all the things you do, then do them. If you stop doing some of the things you do and you don't miss them, it was time for them to go. Just listen to yourself to decide what you can handle and what you can't. No one can know how strong or energetic you are. I bet you won't have any regrets about how your days are spent. Again - been thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteOh it's so cute! Just in time for rodeo. I was just pulling fabrics for rodeo as I was cleaning out yesterday. I will miss those princess twirly days too when they are gone!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful fabric! I LOVE this skirt! And I know exactly what you mean about missing the days of princess and twirling! I am enjoying every second of it with my daughter :-)
